Crossed Products of C*-Algebras by *-Endomorphisms

Abstract

Crossed products of C*-algebras by *-endomorphisms are defined in terms of a universal property for covariant representations implemented by families of isometries and some elementary property of covariant representations and crossed products are obtained.
